Every donation made to the Wakefield Educational Foundation is reflected back in the classrooms, auditoriums, and outdoor spaces of Wakefield’s public schools. Donors like you enable WEF to provide grants that help bring to life the innovative ideas of our educators. Many corporations match their employees’ donations. We encourage you to check with your Human Resources department to find out if your employer offers corporate matching gifts.
S.T.A.R.S. in Honor of Current Educators
Acknowledge teachers and staff who have made a special contribution to your child’s education with the S.T.A.R.S. (Staff & Teachers Are Really Special) program. When you make a donation, the honoree will receive a personalized card acknowledging that a gift was made by you in their honor (the amount is not mentioned). The card is printed on beautiful white linen stock.
S.T.A.R.S. are distributed to honorees twice a year, in December and May and are a great way to say "thank you" around the holidays or at the end of the school year.
The link below to purchase S.T.A.R.S. will be active only during the open December or May S.T.A.R.S. campaigns.
General Donation
With a general donation, as with all donations to WEF, you are contributing directly into the Wakefield Educational Foundation grant program.
The WEF grant program underwrites the cost of special programs, equipment or services to enhance the learning experience for students at all grade levels.
In Memoriam Donation
Contribute in memory of a special educator or a loved one who has passed away.
We are honored to keep the memories and impacts of loved ones alive through the memorial donations received by our Foundation.
Ms. Pam’s Lending Library, established in honor of Ms. Pam Wood, a beloved speech therapist, colleague and friend of the Greenwood School.
