Join us for two fundraising events at the beginning of March: Virtual Family Trivia Night, taking place March 5 and now open for registration, AND WEF’s Online Auction, running March 1-12

WEF President Elizabeth Russell emphasized, “We are excited to host these engaging and fun experiences, while raising money to support WEF’s grant program for Wakefield Public Schools.” These two events are in lieu of traditional fundraisers that are on hiatus, due to limitations imposed by the pandemic.

Virtual Family Trivia Night on Friday, March 5th

is a family event for all ages with questions geared toward the pre-teen level, so everyone can join in. The event will run 7-8:30 pm, with log in beginning at 6:45 pm.

Emcee Andrew Tetrault, Galvin Middle School assistant principal, will broadcast live on WCATWakefield.org. Creative team spirit is encouraged and may be rewarded with bonus points. Watch for cameo appearances by Wakefield Public Schools staff members and earn bragging rights by representing the school with the highest level of participation.

Register your Virtual Family Trivia Night team for $35. Advanced registration is required.

WEF’s Online Auction opens for bidding Monday, March 1st

and runs through midnight Friday, March 12th. Bidding will take place on the RallyUp platform, which will release emails to the highest bidders on March 13th.

The range of auction items will be broad and appeal to all bidders, so be sure to make a bid on the many themed gift baskets, music lessons, a trip to Florida, or all three and more!   Log in early to review the offerings and place your first bid(s). If you are outbid, you will receive an alert instantly, so you can stay on top of the action. Log in again later, to bid on any new items that may be added.

Mark your calendars for March 1st when you can access the WEF Online Auction via this site, and at facebook.com/WEF01880

Auction donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. If you or someone you know would like to donate an item, please email LindaMcManama@yahoo.com.
