Registration is Open Now for the March 15th WEF Adult Spelling Bee

The Wakefield Educational Foundation (WEF) is proud to present the 6th annual Spelling Bee on Friday March 15th at the West Side Social Club on 4 Harrington Court. The Adult Spelling Bee is a team-based event filled with trivia, music and of course, spelling; it is guaranteed to be a fun night out with friends!

 Returning as the Master of Ceremonies will be Mr. Andrew Tetrault, Assistant Principal of the Galvin Middle School. Mr. T’s humor and wit will undoubtedly engage and entertain the crowd.  Doors open at 6:45 pm, the event will begin at 7:30 pm.  The West Side Social Club is certain to bee buzzing on March 15th.

 Players may register as a team and include up to a maximum of 10 members.  The cost per team is $250.  Teams are encouraged to BEE creative with team names, and they can compete for extra points in the themed costumed competition. 

 Participants must be 21 years or older to participate/ enter the facility. Teams are invited to bring snacks for their table to share. All beverages must be purchased on site.  No outside beverages will be allowed.

 All proceeds for the Spelling Bee will support the mission of the Wakefield Educational Foundation, a 501(3) non-profit community based organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing excellence in education for all students in the Wakefield Public Schools.  To support the grant process, WEF receives generous funding from key local business partners, private donors, and a series of annual fundraisers including: WEF’s Wakefield Public Schools Calendar showcasing student art; the S.T.A.R.S. program recognizing exemplary WPS staff; the Online Auction and the Adult Spelling Bee.
